Families take refuge under freeway overpass

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston and surrounding areas are in the middle of an unprecedented flooding emergency as Tropical Storm Harvey spun deeper into Texas on Sunday.

Courtney Fischer interviewed a family who took shelter under a freeway overpass with their loved ones and pets.

The family had waded out of their flooded house on an air mattress as the water was chest high.
