BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- Equusearch and Baytown police are searching for a missing man who has not been seen for more than a week.

Steven Terrell Coleman, 32, was last seen on the evening of Aug. 16 outside of his apartment in the 1700 block of James Bowie Drive. It's not clear how he left his apartment, as his car was still in his parking lot when he was reported missing.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, gray sweatpants and blue and brown Vans shoes.

Coleman is 6'01", weighs 200 pounds and has black eyes and black hair. He has several tattoos on his face and neck, including a fleur-de-lis under each eye and the phrase "East Beast" on his neck.

Based on information from Coleman's friends and family, authorities believe his disappearance poses a threat to his safety.
