Usher to perform tonight at Tilman Fertitta's San Luis Salute in Galveston

GALVESTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Usher is headlining the annual San Luis Salute hosted by Tilman Fertitta and his family Friday night.

The event is taking place at the Galveston Island Convention Center at the San Luis Resort.

The event will honor prominent neurosurgeon Dr. Joel Patterson.

This year's theme is Mexico Magnifico.
