The entire 'Harry Potter' series is returning to IMAX theaters
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Accio, Potterheads! For the first time ever, you can experience all eight Harry Potter movies in IMAX.
Starting Thursday, October 13, you can take the Hogwarts Express back to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and view all eight films in the series at participating theaters for an entire week.
This will be the first time that the first two films in the series will be screened in IMAX, since neither Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets were not initially shown in that format.
The screenings will also include an exclusive sneak peek at "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them," which is based on the novel written by "Harry Potter" creator J.K. Rowling. That movie hits the big screen in November.
Individual movie tickets to the films, as well as package deals, can be purchased through IMAX's website.
