Professional Oscars seat filler shares inside scoop
A woman who's been a professional seat filler for 15 years is sharing secrets on what it's like to sit next to celebrities at the Oscars.

LOS ANGELES -- How would you like to sit among celebrity royalty at the Oscars? Monica Enriquez does, even though she's not famous. She's been a professional seat filler for 15 years!

Enriquez describes it as a fancy game of musical chairs. It's her job to cover for celebrities by sitting in their seats when they go up to accept or present an award.

"As a seat filler, there are a lot of rules you need to follow," she said. "Starting with the dress code. No picture taking. Most important, don't talk to the celebrities unless they talk to you."

It's a voluntary position, so Enriquez doesn't get paid. But it does come with some perks.

Enriquez says she's sat next to famous actors like Brad Pitt and Jake Gyllenhaal. She adds that actress Julia Roberts also smiled at her once.
