Copper boom! Need to know what happened after that shocking final scene? It looks like those "final four words" may not have been so final after all.

Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos reportedly told the U.K. Press Association that Netflix loved the success of the "Gilmore Girls" revival and was talking about bringing it back again.

"The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that," he said, according to the outlet.

Sarandos said the talks are "very preliminary," with show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband producer Daniel Palladino.

We all know how the show goes without those two, cue the disaster that was season 7. Remember pregnant Lane? Hopeless romantic Rory? Lorelai and Christopher get married after 20+ years only to immediately divorced? So, the project will need their support to proceed.

Netflix's "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" gave us four new installments around 90-minutes each, which culminated in the shocking final four words that creator Amy Sherman-Palladino had teased for years.

Netflix, where you lead, we will follow.
