Meteorologist Travis Herzog visits the Thornton Patriots in Katy

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Meteorologist Travis Herzog took his weather safety message to the Thornton Middle School Patriots of CY-Fair ISD on Thursday, February 22nd.

Travis visited Thornton Middle School in Katy where the 7th grade students and Life Skills class learned how to stay safe from hurricanes, flash floods, and tornadoes. He thanks Ms. Andrews for inviting him to teach weather safety to the students, and he hopes the students continue to spread the weather safety messages they learned!
