Meteorologist Travis Herzog visits the Scroggins Bumblebees in East Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Meteorologist Travis Herzog took his weather safety message to the Scroggins Bumblebees of Houston ISD on Wednesday, December 6th.

Travis visited Scroggins Elementary on Houston's east side where the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students learned how to stay safe from hurricanes, flash floods, and tornadoes. He thanks school librarian Ms. Reed for inviting him to teach weather safety to the students.
