Niche ranks Texas' top private high schools
More than two dozen Houston high schools rank among the top in the state.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Without a doubt, choosing a high school for your children is one of the most important decisions you'll make for them. A quality high school education sets the stage not only for post-secondary education, but also for the rest of a child's life, so it's important to find the right fit.

Niche.com recently ranked private high schools all around Texas, taking into account SAT/ACT scores, college enrollment rates, culture and diversity benchmarks, student-teacher ratios and parent surveys. Nearly 100 private high schools across Texas made the cut, including 26 from Houston:
