HUMBLE, TX -- The fifth grade students at Greentree Elementary in Humble Independent School District have spent the last few weeks saying "thank you" to troops for their service to the country.

The fifth graders took time to draw and write hand written thank-you letters to troops and collected nearly 300 care package items including beanie babies, snacks, games, hand and foot warmers and chapstick.

First Choice Emergency Room with locations in Kingwood and Humble, hosted a community collection drive in partnership with Operation Gratitude, where all 61 facilities across Texas and Colorado served as drop-off sites.
