New car for perfect attendance? School district to hold drawing

NEW CANEY, TX (KTRK) -- New Caney Independent School District wants students to go to class, and to motivate them, they're giving them the chance to win a new car.

New Caney and Porter High Schools are eligible. If a student has perfect attendance during the second semester of school, they will be entered in a drawing to win a car. A student can be entered up to five times.

The winner gets to choose from three different types of vehicles, including a Ford Focus, a Toyota Corolla or a Mazda 3.

The cars will be given out at each high school in May.
