Police said the driver went around the curve to the North Loop too fast and hit the guardrail, which caused the truck to flip over the ramp and land on the Eastex Freeway. The truck caught fire and the driver was killed.

The truck carrying vodka crashed and burst into flames. Officials said a second vehicle was underneath the crashed truck.

Global Quality Imports officials told ABC13 that the truck was carrying several cases of Austrian vodka. They said that the driver was a 28-year-old man who was on his way to make deliveries in the Dallas area.

A massive deadly wreck this morning closed the freeway and is expected to remain a mess for hours
