Four men charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Four men were arrested for allegedly trying to rob people involved in a drug transaction, according to Houston police.

The arrests, which occurred after 4:30pm on Wednesday, were part of a joint operation between the HPD and the DEA.

Osman Argueta, Santo Matute, Joner Humberto Ventura-Castillo and Darwin Alvarado Espinoza were the men taken into custody.

There were no details about the people who were allegedly being robbed during the alleged narcotics transaction, but the incident took place in the 8000 block of S. Gessner, police said.
