Delayed construction to cause freeway delays tonight

HOUSTON -- TxDOT has announced the following closures for tonight. They were postponed because of the heavy rains this weekend.

IH 45 GULF

Southbound from FM-1959/DIXIE FARM RD to BAY AREA BLVD. Total Closure. Closed overnight from 8:00 PM, Monday, November 2 to 5:00 AM, Tuesday, November 3. Detour: Motorist will need to exit Dixie Farm and continue on frontage road to Bay Area Blvd. Law enforcement will location to assist with traffic control.

US-59 EASTEX

Southbound from LITTLE YORK RD to LAURA KOPPE RD. 2 Alternate Lane(s). Closed overnight from 9:00 PM, Monday, November 2 to 5:00 AM, Tuesday, November 3.
