Driver facing charges after deadly drunk driving crash in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- One person was killed in what deputies say was a drunk driving crash in Cypress Friday night.

Investigators say they found alcohol in a truck that t-boned a Buick at Telge and Boudreax.

The driver of the car was killed instantly.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Investigators say his blood tests showed he had been drinking.

The drivers were the only ones in the vehicles.
