Precinct 4 deputy constable injured in NW Harris Co. accident

Deputy constable hurt in 4-car wreck
A Harris County precinct 4 deputy constable was injured in a four-car wreck Sunday afternoon.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Precinct 4 deputy constable was involved in a four-car accident in northwest Harris County Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened after 2:30pm in the 5500 block of FM 1960. The deputy constable's patrol car rear ended the car in front of him, as he was traveling west on FM 1960. That car then struck another vehicle, and the deputies car veered across the road and struck a third vehicle.

The deputy constable, who is not been identified, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was last listed in good condition.

A total of six people were in the three other vehicles that were struck. None of those people are said to have been seriously injured.

The accident is under investigation.
