CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman who may have been lost survived a crash in the woods in northwest Harris County this morning.
At around 3 a.m., the woman drove through a barricade while driving down Spring Cypress near Telge Road.
The Toyota 4-Runner landed in the woods.
It took rescuers several minutes to cut her out of the crashed car.
A LifeFlight helicopter took the driver to Hermann Hospital, where she is expected to be OK.
Deputies found a GPS application open on her phone. They believe she may have been lost trying to use it.
