Babysitter charged in death of infant in Missouri City daycare

MISSOURI CITY, TX (KTRK) -- A caregiver is charged with criminally negligent homicide in the death of a two-month-old baby at a Missouri City daycare last month.

Thelma Louise Coleman, 60, has been arrested by Missouri City Police for the death of Sebastian Bingley III. The infant died on March 29, while in the care of Coleman.

The baby's cause of death has not yet been made public.

Sebastian's grandfather, Sebastian Bingley, Sr., shared these words through the family's grief. ""Kiss your babies. Any time of the day, think about your family, kiss them in the morning. I love you, whatever it takes to let someone know you really care about them."

Coleman's bond has been set at $50,000.
