Boat storage facility heavily damaged in north Harris County fire

TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- A fire broke out this morning at a boat storage warehouse in north Harris County, affecting at least 10 units.

Firefighters responded to the AAA Boat Storage in the 600 block of FM 2920 around 7:20am and found damage to 10 units. Boats, cars and machinery are kept at the facility.

The extent of the damage is unknown at this time.

Spring Deputy Chief Scott Schoonover said, "We do have some flammable liquids in the building from your normal storage for boats as far as gasolines and oils and stuff like that, but anything out of the ordinary, we haven't found anything."
