Call us maybe? Dallas PD invites weed farmers to claim their crop on Twitter

DALLAS, Texas (KTRK) -- A marijuana farmer in Dallas now has 3,000 fewer plants, and the city's police force jokingly invited them to turn themselves in on Twitter.

"Are you missing your weed? Call us. Over 3000 marijuana plants found by [Dallas PD's helicopter] in a remote area," DPD southeast patrol division Major Max Geron tweeted late Friday.

Just a hunch, but those who call to claim the weed likely won't get it back anytime soon.
