VIDEO: Diners stunned as van crashes through Florida restaurant wall

PLANTATION, FL (KTRK) -- Customers at a Plantation, Florida, restaurant rushed out of the way when a van drove through the wall yesterday.

The van was going so fast, it almost reached the back of the restaurant. One person was even trapped underneath the van's wheels.

Officials said the driver was a regular customer of the restaurant and was there to pick up some food.

"It looks like it was some kind of medical emergency," Chief Joel Gordon of Plantation Fire Department said.

The driver has not been charged.

Local station WTVJ reports two people were seriously injured and three others suffered minor injuries in the crash.
