Corpus Christi mother of 2 killed in crash with suspected drunk driver on Highway 358

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators in Corpus Christi say two children were in the car when their mother was killed by a suspected drunk driver.

Brenda Rodriguez died early Saturday morning in a crash along Highway 358, KRIS-TV reports.

Her two children who were injured in the crash were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A 25-year-old driver was arrested at the scene, and is facing charges in the deadly crash.
