Construction worker hit by truck on SH-288

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A construction worker is recovering after he was hit by a cement mixer truck on SH 288, police said.

It happened near Almeda Genoa around 8 a.m. Friday.

Two southbound lanes were shut down while authorities worked to find out more about the crash.
