Free METRO rides for active and retired military members

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All veterans and active military members will be riding for free on Saturday.

In honor of Veterans Day, all METRORail, local bus, Park & Ride and METROLift services will be free for the entire day.

Riders will need to declare their military status in order to enjoy the free rides.

Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11.
