HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Help is on the way for power crews in areas affected by Hurricane Nate.

CenterPoint Energy linemen left Sunday morning to help restore power to residents impacted by the storm.

ABC13 was there as 70 linemen and support personnel in 40 vehicles began their trip east.

CenterPoint has agreements with other energy companies to assist in emergency situations.

Most recently, linemen worked to restore power to customers in Florida following Hurricane Irma.
