On Tuesday evening, a boat washed up on El Jardin Beach in Pasadena at about 7:15 p.m. Officials found a backpack onboard, and found the boat's kill switch had been pulled. A search began for the missing boaters.
At about 10:40 p.m., Coast Guard officials rescued a 13-year-old girl in Galveston Bay. She informed the crew that everyone onboard had been thrown into the water, and that the two people she was with were still missing.
Just before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, authorities located a body matching the description of the missing boater in his early 60s.
Then at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, a body matching the description of the missing boater in her early 30s was recovered by the Kemah Police Department's Marine One Division.
