Clumsy crooks smash cache on way out in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas (KTRK) -- A group of clumsy crooks broke into a Cypress liquor store, but they didn't make a clean getaway.

Surveillance video captured the suspects spending nearly 15 minutes trying to pry open the door. They then just smashed the glass with a crow bar.

They stole several bottles of liquor and filled a garbage bag with cigarettes. As they left, one suspect tripped and fell and shattered a bottle of vodka.
