Boy taken by Life Flight after being accidentally shot by older brother, authorities say

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An 11-year-old child has been hospitalized after he was accidentally shot in the head by his older brother.

Authorities with Brazoria County say the incident happened around 4:45 p.m. Friday at the 1000 block of County Road 678.

According to authorities, the child was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann.

The child is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
