Typhoon Texas looking to fill over 1,000 seasonal jobs and enhance park

KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- If you're looking for a summer job, Typhoon Texas has over 1,000 seasonal positions to fill.

The west Houston waterpark will look to fill jobs in water safety, guest relations, food and beverage, programming, maintenance and park services.

Applications can be found on Typhoon Texas' website.

The hiring is in addition to new changes coming to the park.

"Everything is about making our great, family-friendly waterpark experience even better for our guests," said General Manager Evan Barnett in a statement.

According to the park, enhancements include new shade structures, 400 on-site parking spots, new custom screen to the wavepool and new retail carts.

Typhoon Texas opens on May 27 through Labor Day.
