Authorities found a body in the car that plunged into the Buffalo Bayou

Crews were investigating this morning after an eyewitness said they saw a car go into the water.

Fire crews took to the bayou on a raft, wrapping chains carefully around the vehicle so they could pull it out.

At least one person was found inside the vehicle, firefighters told Eyewitness News.

Investigators were unable to tell us how the car got into the river, but again, an eyewitness reportedly saw the vehicle splash down into Buffalo Bayou.
