Car drives into waters at Lake Olympia Parkway; shuts down roads

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A car drove into shallow waters after it overturned at Lake Olympia Parkway near the Fort Bend County tollway.

Bystanders who witnessed the incident helped free the people who were trapped inside the car as they waited for police to arrive.

It's unclear what caused the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
