HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A car smashed all the way inside a cell phone store in southwest Houston, coming to rest just feet away from an employee.

The accident happened at a Boost Mobile store on Bissonnet at Cook Tuesday afternoon, sending the vehicle through bars on the front of the building, and shattering the large glass window.

"It was loud, it was crazy. I was so scared," recalled employee Maythe de la Cruz. "I screamed and the neighbors heard me. They dashed in here to make sure I was OK."

The impact of the crash shoved furniture and display cases around the store. No one was hurt.

The driver appeared to be stunned and upset, but was unhurt, according to De la Cruz. "She stayed in the car a minute and I yelled at her to make sure she was OK. ... She opened the door and she was fine. She was crying, I was crying. It was chaos."

The circumstances of the accident are not known at this time.
