Car drives off parking garage deck to building below

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A car crashed off a parking garage near Kirby and Richmond Sunday afternoon falling seven stories onto another building.
The driver described as a young man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A strip of businesses was evacuated due to fears of the roof's structural integrity, firefighters said.
It's not clear what caused the young man to drive through a wall on the parking garage.

After the crash firefighters said the man let himself out of the car, which was partially through the ceiling.
