CAMP Stores create innovative experiences the whole family can enjoy

NEW YORK -- In every CAMP store in America, a secret door leads the way to unforgettable experiences for the whole family!

"CAMP is a family experience company, we build really fun, immersive environments that help families have fun together outside their homes," says Ben Kaufman CEO & Co-Founder of CAMP.

CAMP stores have a little something for everyone, including toys, gifts, and apparel. But the fun really starts once guests find the hidden door in the back of the store, where rotating, themed, immersive experiences for the whole family take place.

"The output of our work is family joy," notes Ben who hopes to lead the way for a more immersive, experiential, and fun shopping experience with every CAMP store.

"People now are not going to physical locations as frequently, they're going on digital platforms," says Stephanie Young, President of Disney Consumer Products, Games & Publishing. "if you are going to go to a physical location, it needs to be something really unique and special to draw you in."

CAMP was chosen out of hundreds of innovative companies that applied to be a part of the Disney Accelerator Program, an initiative that combines the power of Disney with new and exciting technologies, entertainment experiences, and products.

"Our accelerator program gives us a really great opportunity to really bring two different companies with unique skill sets together," Stephanie explains.

Thanks to the Disney Accelerator Program, you'll soon see Disney-themed experiences, based on beloved Disney movies like Toy Story, coming to CAMP stores.

"I grew up with Toy Story and being able to bring my kids into the world I thought was the most magical thing is so special," says Ben.
