UPS hiring 95,000 for the holidays
UPS is about to go on a major hiring spree.

UPS is planning to hire 95,000 seasonal employees ahead of the holiday shipping season.

The company says most of those hired will work as package handlers, drivers and driver helpers, and 35 percent of the new hires will likely be hired for permanent positions after the holidays.

In fact, even CEO David Abney began his career with the company as a temporary employee.

"If you are a student, a working mom or just looking to make extra money for the holidays, we have a job for you," Abney said in a news release.
