Funny signs warn drivers at dangerous Missouri intersection

BRANSON, MO (KTRK) -- Authorities in one Missouri town are using humor to tackle a serious problem. They have put up extra signs reading, "really you gotta stop" at one intersection.

Most drivers are laughing.

The Branson Fire Department says the intersection has been a problem spot for years. There have been dozens of fender benders and even one fatal crash.

The number of accidents has dropped since the signs went up.
