CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- Two bodies were discovered outside of a Conroe home Saturday morning, according to police.

Louis Wilkerson, 59, was discovered by his brother by the side of his home around 8:30am.

"That's evil. That's evil," said Wilkerson's daughter Michelle Gillaspie. "My daddy was a Marine. He fought for this country."

Family members say Wilkerson's killer bashed his head in with a brick. Just feet away from Wilkerson's body, another victim was found. She has been identified as 43-year-old Lisa McWashington. Family members said the two were long-time friends.

McWashington was said to be crippled and a grandmother.

"(She was the) kindest person in the world," said McWashington's son Walter Kelly Cleveland Jr.

Conroe police followed up Saturday afternoon on leads and spoke with the victim's families as they continued to search for the killer or killers.

"They know we won't stop until we find somebody. We have very few unsolved cases because of that," said Sgt. Dorcy Riddle.

"I'm not going to stop. I'm going to call the police every day," said Gillaspie. "I'm not going to stop until somebody tells me what happened to him or her."

It's a promise Gillaspie said she will keep -- the last one she said she can for her father.

Conroe police is asking for anyone to come forward with any information about this double murder.
