Legally blind twins show goats at the Houston Rodeo

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Nothing could stop a set of twins from participating in the Houston Rodeo.

Caleb Snapp and his twin sister Faith, 15, show livestock at the Houston Rodeo with help from their older sister, Jacey.

The twins, from Lubbock, were born prematurely and are legally blind as a result.

Jacey acts as their eyes in the ring.

"She told me where the judge is (and) told me what to do with my goat because I can't," Caleb said. "I always struggle to see his back legs, or I have a hard time finding the judge."

The twins don't let their problems with sight get in the way.

"We come (to the rodeo) every year," Faith said. "It's my favorite stock show. I like how big it is."

Jacey said helping her younger siblings is a pleasure.

"It's just such an impactful experience to be able to go in and help my baby brother or baby sister be just as successful as any other kid," Jacey said.

Faith showed a steer, a goat and a lamb. Caleb showed a goat.
