Bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in SE Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One person has been hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in southeast Houston.

Houston police said the incident occurred at about 8:49 p.m. on 6200 Griggs Road at Telephone Road when a male cyclist was hit by the vehicle.

The victim was transported to Ben Taub Hospital.

At this time, the extent of his injuries is unknown.
