ROSENBERG, TX (KTRK) -- Two people were stung several times by bees this morning in Rosenberg, authorities say.

The Rosenberg Fire Department and Fort Bend emergency medical services responded to call for bee stings around 11:55am.

No one was sent to the hospital, but we've learned two adults were stung several times each at a home in the 500 block of Walsh Road.

The bees were from an aggressive hive attached to the home where a family of five live.

The adults were able to make it to a vehicle for safety and the children inside the home stayed inside the house until they could be rescued by firefighters who wrapped them up in blankets.

Firefighters used foam on the house to subdue the hive.
