Houston pets ask Santa for a home for Christmas

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Pets at BARC Animal Shelter asked Santa for a forever home Sunday.

There are animals all over Houston with just one Christmas wish in their heart, to find a forever home.

Santa posed for pictures as part of a special adoption promotion.

All pet owners were invited to bring their pets in to meet Santa in exchange for a donation to BARC.

The shelter's home for the holidays adoption event features $5 fees for dogs five months and older and $1 for all cats and kittens.
