Police looking for suspect who reportedly kidnapped woman at gunpoint in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, TX

The 21-year-old woman told authorities she was driving home Monday at around 10:40pm when she stopped on Palm Royale Boulevard and Commonwealth Boulevard. She says she saw a white man wearing all black standing on the side of the road.

She said she waited to see if the man would cross the road, but he instead walked up to her car and looked inside before walking to the front of the vehicle, where he allegedly pointed a gun at the woman.

She then said the man walked to the passenger side of her car and attempted to enter, but the door was locked. He told her to open the door and she complied.

The man said he needed a ride and gave directions to National Oilwell Varco along the North Sam Houston Parkway, where he got out of the car. She was not injured.

The suspect is described as white, 17 to 22 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 130 pounds. He had long brown hair and was wearing a khaki backpack and black clothes, including a black knit cap and black rubbery gloves. She also said he spoke with a 'ghetto" Hispanic accent and appeared to dress in a 'gothic' style.

If you have any information, you're being asked to call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
