Melissa Mantor, who is 18 weeks pregnant says an employee at Planet Fitness told her to leave because she was violating the dress code. But Mantor said her tank top attire had never been a problem before.
"She said 'Your belly's hanging out,' and I said, 'Of course my belly's hanging out. I'm obviously pregnant!'"
Mantor says she was so upset that she canceled her membership immediately.
Planet Fitness then released a statement defending the decision, saying it has a strict dress code that prohibits "revealing clothing" among other items.
