Two people shot outside auto shop in NE Houston

HOUSTON

Eyewitnesses say two men were wounded just before 3pm. One was shot in the face and the other shot in the shoulder.

The owner of G and J Garage says the shooting started right outside his place on Parker near Highway 59. He tells us those inside one car started firing at a silver one, hitting the two men inside after they exchanged some choice words.

"The guy shot twice and they took off. The guy who was bleeding, he came in my shop. I heard my mechanic yelling," said shop owner Saad Quamar. "I saw guy on bleeding on his cheek area or somewhere, so he grabbed a fender cover and put it on his eye and everything."

The owner claims the injured passenger got out and started running for cover. The shop owner adds that the driver continued down the street before pulling over in front of another store.

Two men were taken to the hospital after being shot. Houston police continue to investigate and are trying to find that gunman.
