Family members arrested in alleged drug operation in Fort Bend County

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the group was living and operating out of a home in 11000 block of Hueco Tanks Drive. During the early morning hours last Thursday, agents with the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force conducted a raid with the Fort Bend Regional SWAT Team, executing a search warrant at the house.

Agents searched the home, finding what they call a "substantial amount" of marijuana, Xanax, powder cocaine and drug contraband indicative of manufacturing, packaging and distributing illicit narcotics. The estimated street value of the narcotics is $30,000.

Three suspects were booked into the Fort Bend County Jail. They are Sarmad Quddusi, 23; Saud Quddusi, 24; and Safi Quddusi, 19, all of Sugar Land. They all face drug charges.

Sarmad Qudussi and Saud Quddusi are being held without bond. Safi Quddusi has a $101,000 bond. All three remain in the Fort Bend County Jail.
