Three felony charges have now been filed against a man police say was captured on home surveillance video inside a west Harris County home, even peering at a sleeping toddler.

Christopher Gomez was arrested yesterday for previous warrants, but deputies say he is the man seen in the surveillance video inside a home in the 18200 block of Flint Hill Drive on April 5. He allegedly took several items from the home, including a wallet and a laptop that was later left in a neighbor's lawn.

Investigators believe Gomez also broke into at least two other homes as well.

This morning, he was formally charged with three counts of burglary. Bail has been set at $100,000 per charge.

Authorities say tips given to Crime Stoppers after the surveillance video was aired on Houston newscasts led them to Gomez. The 18-year-old is also suspected in two other home burglaries.
