It's Free Stuff Friday!

Ben and Jerry's is having its annual Free Cone Day April 8, so mark your calendars! Anyone can come into a location and get a free ice cream from noon-8 p.m. Plan on it being busy, because there are only four locations in the greater Houston area.

SeaWorld San Antonio is giving all Texas teachers a big appreciation gift -- free admission for all of 2014. Teachers for grades K-12 at any public or private school can register for the 2014 Fun Card online by May 31. As long as your first visit is by Aug. 1, the card is good through Dec. 31. You must bring a copy of your Texas teacher certification, paystub within the last 30 days, valid Texas ID and eVoucher with you on your first visit.

Home Depot has a free fun kids project to welcome the birds to your home for spring. Children can make a birdfeeder featuring the characters from Rio 2 at the Kids Workshop on Saturday. The workshop is held from 9 a.m. to noon for kids ages 5-12.

The Melting Pot is offering free cheese fondue for all of its Club Fondue members. If you aren't a member, you can still join here. The offer is good April 7-10 for yourself and up to three more people. There's no purchase required, just go in and enjoy the free fondue!

The Corvette Owners Club of Houston is putting out all its rides, free for the public to see. The 10th Annual Spring Charity Corvette Car Show will take place Saturday April 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sugar Land Town Square. Over 130 Corvettes will be on display for car enthusiasts to enjoy, and it's all free! There will be raffles and door prizes that benefit several charities.

McDonald's is helping you get started in the morning with free coffee! The restaurants will offer small cups of McCafe coffee at no charge during breakfast hours now through April 13.

And Dunkin Donuts is getting on board with free coffee too! Starting Monday April 7, they're having free coffee Mondays until May 12. Stop in at any Houston area Dunkin' every Monday and get a medium hot or iced coffee for FREE. Dunkin' is sweetening the deal even more by offering a free travel cup every Monday along with the free coffee (while supplies last). Guests can use the free travel cup to get $.99 refills any day of the week. Dunkin Donuts is celebrating whole grains this week! If you come in now until April 6 and buy one whole grain bagel, you get one free!

If you want a garden, but don't have a lot of space there is a free event this weekend to show you how. Nursery owner Dianne Norman is holding the event at Wabash Feed and Garden Store Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. She will show you how to create a specialized garden and show you what plants to pair together.

This Tuesday it's toddler Tuesday at Discovery Green and it's a biggie. There will be 20,000 Easter treats & prizes for kids to "hunt". The egg hunt will begin right at 10:30 am. There will also be Easter crafts, activities and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to bring a basket. this event is open to 6 and under but please no daycare groups.

Thanks to Big Kid, Small City.com for this next one...This Saturday, it's Bubblefest in the Heights! The event is at the Hogg Middle School Spark park from 11 am until 2 p.m. There will be bubble machines, foam pits and bubble games. The free event is for kids ages 3 to 11.
