According to police, the man got into a fight with his mother at a home in the 9300 block of Willow Street. Officers say he assaulted her, then turned on his brother when he intervened.
Officers came and arrested the man. They took him to the hospital because he had a cut on his head, and there, they say, he died. Now investigators want to know what caused the man's death.
"He has had some medical problems," said Sgt. JW McCoy with the Houston Police Department. "It could have been drug-related. Just do not know right now why he died."
Police have not released the name of the man and no charges have been filed in connection to his death.
