Kamryn Renfro's school suspended her, claiming her shaved head violated the dress code. The 3rd grader shaved her head to support her friend, Delaney, who is fighting neuroblastoma.
After a big outpouring and outcry on social media, the school decided to let Kamryn return to class today.
Even with all the uproar, she says she wouldn't change anything.
"She's my best friend," said Kamryn.
"It made me feel very special and that I'm not alone," Delaney added.
The school board of directors says it will take another look at the dress code and consider where exceptions can be made.
