Kimberlee Koteras, 41, was arrested yesterday on charges of theft, misapplication of fiduciary funds and money laundering.
According to investigators, Koteras, who was an employee at Percheron Acquisitions, was able to manipulate the payroll process, adding money to her per diem and mileage to increase her paychecks.
Investigators say in a year and a half, Koteras was able to steal between $250,000 and $260,000.
Koteras worked for the company for nearly three years before being fired. She remains in the Ft. Bend County Jail under a $75,000 bond.
